Open year round, The Lodge at Eagles Mere is a group rental that offers rustic comfort for family vacations, reunions, retreats, outing clubs, and wedding parties.  Located within the Borough of Eagles Mere, yet slightly off the beaten path, The Lodge is a short walk or bike ride to Eagles Mere Lake and the Historic Village.  Nestled in a wooded grove on the hillside overlooking Chestnut Ridge and North Mountain, the setting of The Lodge offers spectacular views and peaceful country living.
    This 1860 log and stone building houses many spacious living areas with
plenty of room for large families or groups of up to 40 people.  Bed, bath, and bunk rooms are furnished with fresh linens and towels, homemade quilts, and down blankets.
     Favorite pastimes include family style cooking in the fully stocked kitchen, grilling on the deck, and gathering by the big stone fireplace to read, reflect, and converse.  Children stay busy indoors and out with games, movies, billiards, ping-pong, and the famous 8-foot hot tub.
    Enjoy swimming, sailing, and canoeing at the Lake from June through Labor Day.  Daily activities, creative and athletic, are available for children at the beach and nature center.  Stroll around the Laurel Path that follows the edge of the lake, or hike scenic trails that lead to creeks and waterfalls.  Sports enthusiasts enjoy mountain biking, hunting, and fishing.
   Lodge guests are welcome to play golf and tennis at the Eagles Mere Country Club.
  The mountain comes alive in autumn with magnificent fall foliage, antiquing, art festivals, and country fairs.  Visit in winter and enjoy cross-country skiing, skating on the pond, riding the famous toboggan slide, and just relaxing by the fire.
